I love the idea that a boudoir session can explore two very different sides visually – using the concept light & airy & dark & sultry. The resulting images are very different and require a different approach to lighting, posing & styling, You don’t have to choose between them – many clients opt for a mix of these but you may also have a preference for only one ‘look` for your boudoir images
A. Firstly, using the very latest products - our professional make up artist will work with you to create the perfect look and put the finishing touches to your transformation by dry-styling your hair. This initial pampering typically lasts about 1 hour.
During your photoshoot we make sure every woman feels confident and special during their time with us. We understand that you will be nervous in the lead up to your shoot and that appearing almost naked in front of strangers can be a very daunting prospect, however you will find that after a short while you will wonder what all the worry was about!
A. Dion is our professional photographer and has been shooting for 20 years and has won numerous awards for his work. Fiona is our Boudoir stylist, and it's her job to make sure there are no nerves during your shoot and to help you with all the posing. In 2016 we built a brand new studio specifically for private boudoir shoots. You will even have a private changing area in which you will feel totally secure and relaxed whilst preparing for your exciting experience
A. Don't worry about being nervous, everyone is! It usually takes a little while to get warmed up, but we'll make you feel as comfortable as possible. Once you've seen how amazing you look after your makeover, you'll be excited to show it off. We will firstly help you relax and then we will guide you through poses which will bring out the best in you. Everyone leaves the studio telling us how much fun they had.
A. The most important thing is to bring outfits that you are going to feel comfortable wearing . We encourage you to bring several outfits that you love. To give it a personal touch, you can bring one of his shirts and ties or a Football or Rugby shirt would look great. Corsets are a great choice for boudoir as are stockings and heels. Jackets and coats are also useful but everything depends on you and your personality and comfort levels. If you are having a makeover and not a boudoir session, bring what you would wear for a very special night out. Other things you might want to bring include underwear, belts, hats, long boots, strappy shoes, stockings / tights. If you require a bridal set you can bring along your wedding underwear, shoes, veil and tiara if you have them. These are just ideas though ' feel free to bring anything with you to accessorise your shoot!
We have a number of sets and a varied range of jewellery accessories and also a antique mirror and a modern chaise lounge.
A. Although we do not restrict the time allowed for your shot, it should normally last around 3 hours including make up. There will be lots of light refreshments during your boudoir experience.
A. As much as you dare! Reveal as much or as little as you are comfortable with there will be no pressure from us, you set the boundaries of your shoot. However as your confidence grows in front of the camera do not be afraid to suggest poses
A. After your session has taken place, we'll take you through to our design consultation room for the big reveal of your photographs! We then suggest it can be anywhere between 4-6 weeks after your reveal for the receiving of your photographs
A. Yes we do, but only if you wish. We have levels of retouching from basic to high for that 'magazine' look at no extra cost. Once you have chosen your final photographs they will be expertly retouched to your specifications.
A. You are more than welcome to bring a friend with you for the shoot, or even your partner if you wish!
A. Not at all, as long as you are over 18 years old we are happy to arrange a shoot. However we have special teen shoots for those who are under 18. They get the same amount of pampering but with more appropriate posing and outfits.
Our Boudoir Experiences take place through the week by appointment, based upon availability. Evening sessions are also available and very popular. Whether that is with a stunning piece of art work you can display on your wall, or in a keepsake album so you can pull it out when you're having a bad day! We have all of our products displayed around our studio so you can see what we do when you come along.

I saw you post looking for models to do new poses you wanted try out. At I saw you po I saw you post looking for models to do new poses you wanted try out. At 52 wasn't sure if I would be suitable. Luckily you invited me along to a shoot My husband of 29 years passed away in 2015 I also have MS and I'm not really a girly girl for makeup, fancy undies or big heels more used to muddy walking boots and waterproofs . But I wanted to do something that is not really me. Shopping followed inc big shoes even had my nails painted. I went on my own and I loved every minute of it .The lovely lady that did my makeup and hair, wow, I loved that so much ! then off i went for the shoot with Shelley and Stan .. you guys are fab and made it so really easy to do, (thanks for letting me hold onto your shoulder while I had my big shoes on Fiona) lol . When I came back to look at my photos I thought I might like one or two but I was surprised how good they all were! . I picked my photos and collected them a few weeks later. I love them and so do the ladies I have shown them to . I like how they still look like me without having every line airbrushed away which I didn't want . And thankyou for letting me use my husband's hat on a couple of poses made it really special for me . I can't wait to come back in a few months after I've had all my tattoos finished. Although now I know my calves will ache for days after due to big heels. Ouch. I would really recommend all the ladies to do this it really is fun and makes you feel good about yourself.
