Dion Gallichan Photography is an award-winning portrait studio situated in Soham, near Ely in Cambridgeshire and was founded in 2006 by Dion who has worked in the portrait industry for more than 15 years. The studio has been designed to be calming and relaxing, providing the perfect serene environment for a newborn photoshoot and letting us capture beautiful raw memories. Our white infinity backdrop ensures that all of the attention stays on your newborn, and we can provide a range of props and materials to help you produce the perfect work of art.
Of course, if you prefer, we are also able to travel to you at home, to capture your family and newborn together in your own environment.

Capturing the perfect moment
Most parents opt to have their newborn photoshoot at some time within the first 2 weeks after their baby is born in order to take advantage of the early, sleepy stage of their baby’s development and to capture them at their very smallest. Because our diaries can fill up quite quickly it’s often best to put a date in the diary for 2 weeks after your due date before your baby is born and we can always adjust the date if things move more quickly or slowly. It is our job to capture your newborn in a way that you will be able to enjoy for many years to come, and so we encourage you to bring with you any props or memorabilia that you would like to be used in the shoot.
