General
We reserve the right to amend, vary or cancel these terms and conditions at any time.
By booking an appointment with us, you are subject to these terms and conditions.
No photographs or videos may be taken on the premises at any time without our written permission. We reserve the right to eject anyone we believe to be taking photos or videos on any device including mobile phones and this will invalidate any vouchers or deposits on their account.
Bookings
All bookings are accepted at the discretion of our booking team.
We reserve the right to refuse a booking or cancel an appointment if a client’s behaviour, manner or hygiene is deemed inappropriate or offends the staff or other clients.
All photoshoots require a session fee or a booking deposit to be paid upon booking.
Booking deposits are refunded in full at the viewing appointment or alternatively may be used as a part payment towards a portrait order with Dion Gallichan Photography.
Due to a significant increase in late cancellations and no-shows, we must enforce our updated booking policy for portrait sessions.
- To cancel a one-hour portrait session, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice.
- For specialised sessions such as boudoir or pin-up or other portrait sessions that require makeup artist services, please provide us with a minimum of 48 hours' notice to ensure we can notify our makeup artists accordingly.
Rescheduling is limited to a maximum of two occasions. Should you need to reschedule your session beyond this limit without coordination with our bookings team, your booking deposit will be forfeited.
Adherence to this policy allows us to maintain a high standard of service and ensures fairness for all clients looking forward to their sessions with us.
Under 21 years
All attendees under 21 years of age must be always accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
Boudoir shoots are strictly for those over 21 years only.
Photo ID in the form of a driver’s licence or passport may be required as verification of age for those under 25 years.
Viewings
Your viewing appointment is a fundamental element of your experience and therefore the same booking policy applies to viewing appointments as to photoshoots.
Depending on the shoot type and date, your viewing may be directly following your photoshoot or on a separate occasion. If you are unsure which applies to your shoot, please contact us.
We do not offer remote viewing or an online ordering service.
The client who booked the appointment and paid the booking deposit must be present at the viewing appointment as both parents/guardians of those under 21 years must attend the viewing appointment.
Orders
All orders are final at the viewing and forms a contract between you, the Client and Dion Gallichan Photography Ltd. Due to the nature of our products, once an order is placed it in non-cancellable, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges. At the discretion of Dion Gallichan Photography, changes to the choice, style and size of selected images may be accepted. This does not affect your statutory rights.
All orders must be paid for in full at the viewing or by payment plan.
Payment is required in full at time of ordering, unless you are paying in agreed instalments through our spread-the-cost payment plans.
Payment plans are available for orders over £500, require a minimum 25% deposit at your viewing session and are subject to additional terms and conditions. Customers who wish to take advantage of the interest-free payment plans with our nominated external credit provider are also available, subject to credit checks and their terms and conditions.
All orders take approximately 6-8 weeks to complete and must be collected from the studio.
Re-orders are subject to an additional 10% charge.
Additional viewings are charged at £35.00
Orders of Images & Products
All images and products are protected under copyright laws and may not be used or transmitted unless the client has purchased copies of the images with a licencing agreement and expressed written permission as provided by Dion Gallichan Photography.
Dion Gallichan Photography reserves the right to use any images created for display, promotion and advertising.
In line with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations), Dion Gallichan Photography uses your email address and phone number as a convenient way to contact you about your order or any updates to your order, session or viewing dates. Or we may contact you to update you on our products and services. Your details will not be sold or passed on to third parties.
Copyright and display
Copyright for all images remains with Dion Gallichan Photography Ltd and images must not be reproduced in any form without our written consent.
If you purchase digital downloads, a print release will be included which grants you permission to reproduce images for any personal use.
We reserve the right to use photographs taken by our photographers for display, website, literature, promotions and advertisements. However, you may request that your photographs not be used for display by emailing dg.photography@hotmail.com
Vouchers
All vouchers and discounts are accepted at the discretion of our booking team.
We only accept one voucher or discount per family or household in a calendar year.
For family portrait sessions a full family, or minimum of two generations to take part.
Gift vouchers are valid to the expiry date as stated and start from date of purchase or issue.
Gift vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
The value of the Gift Voucher may not be used to purchase images from a previous session.
The size or value of the portrait as provided by the gift voucher cannot be used towards the cost of a larger item.
A refundable booking deposit is required when using a voucher.
If your voucher was purchased from or gifted by a third party, additional terms and conditions may apply.
Entry to Dion Gallichan Photography Competitions
These refer to either entry made through forms completed at exhibitions, events, direct mail, email and social media. No purchase is necessary.
The promoter is Dion Gallichan Photography Limited.
By completing the entry form and ticking the submit or opt-in box or providing your signature on forms; entrants to the competitions are giving express permission to receive marketing communications from Dion Gallichan Photography. Your details will not be sold or passed onto third parties.
Prize(s) will be drawn randomly for each competition. Prize collection is to be arranged between winner and the promoter. Dion Gallichan Photography will notify winner(s) by the email address or telephone number as supplied on the entry of the competition.
By accepting this prize(s), the winner’s consent to the promoter and its agencies using the winner’s details, photographs and other material for reasonable promotional purposes including but not limited to posters, emails, online marketing activity and press.
The promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury in connection with the prize(s) or its use by the winners. The prize(s) cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
Competition and promotions are open to anyone aged 18 years and above, except for a boudoir competition or promotion where the entry age is 21 years and above.
Entry into Dion Gallichan Photography competitions or promotions is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Dion Gallichan Photography reserves the right to extend, change or terminate any competition and its terms at any time without notice.
Any decisions made by Dion Gallichan Photography regarding the competition or promotion are final.
